It’s a pleasure for me to announce that I will be spending a large portion of my summer as an editorial intern for Women’s Wear Daily (WWD) on Fifth Avenue, in New York City!
“Canada 150 is a celebration of genocide and colonialism,” says Brendan Copegog White, an Ojibway person and one of the primary organizers of Ottawa’s Anti Capitalist May Day being held on May 1.
White is not the only one to feel some animosity toward the celebrations. A social media movement has begun with the hashtag #Resistance150.
OTTAWA – The Individuality Project is a film photography series by local photographer Cassie Even-Hen.
Last night, The Individuality Project was exhibited alongside other local talent. The event was in celebration of Black History Month and Canada’s diversity of individuals. Canadian rappers Jacob Chin, Ian Lorts and Sleezoe performed, and YouTube personality Fatima Zahra presented slam poetry.
